Sirotkin House is a beautiful building not to far from the wonderful Golden Gate Park and the stunning Golden Gate. This is an architectural jewel, the facade looks amazing topped by a very evocative domed roof,not sure you can gain access but I was content to just admire this stunning piece of architecture and take some photos before moving on, easy to locate along Volodymyrska Street and most definitely well worth checking out if your in the area.

This house in the Modern style is located between the Majdan and the Golden Gate.From there you reach out very quick the Wladimir Cathedral and on the other side the Sophien Cathedral.It’s in the middle of the old Russian part of Kiew. It’s a nice walk from the Majdan to the Golden Gate, then to the Sophien cathedral, to Michaels cloister and back to the Majdan.You see there a lot of these houses, but most of them are not open for public visits.
