Fractional laser resurfacing involves penetrating the laser beam into the deep layers of the dermis through a special fractional grid. This divides the laser beam into hundreds of small fractions (fragments), thus precisely targeting the skin and preventing excessive damage. In response to the thermal laser action, the regenerative resources of the dermis and epidermis are activated: cells actively divide, elastin and collagen concentrations increase, a new muscle framework is formed, and tissue lifting occurs.

In other words, the laser beam evaporates the upper keratinized layer of the epidermis, along with pigmentation, wrinkles, scars, and uneven skin texture. At the same time, it activates the synthesis of collagen and elastin in the dermis, which are responsible for the firmness, elasticity, and youthfulness of the skin.

Indications for the procedure:

Contraindications to laser resurfacing:

• Oncological diseases.

The process of carrying out the procedure:

Fractional laser facial resurfacing is virtually painless. For sensitive patients, the procedure can be performed under local anesthesia. A numbing cream can be applied to the target area. The doctor and patient wear protective goggles during the procedure. The laser handpiece directs the beam to the problem area, precisely targeting it using preset parameters.

Rehabilitation period:

During the first two days after resurfacing, the skin will experience intense redness and swelling. After 2-3 days, a light-brown crust will form on the skin's surface, which will peel off on its own within 5-7 days. For the first 2-3 weeks, use sunscreen with at least SPF 50 before each time you go outdoors. It is recommended to avoid saunas, steam rooms, and swimming pools for 2 weeks.
