Facial cleansing is a professional cosmetic procedure for deep cleansing of the skin, removing impurities, sebum, dead skin cells, and blackheads. There are various types of cleansing (ultrasonic, mechanical, combined, and atraumatic) for different skin types, including cleansing, pore preparation, cleansing, and soothing/moisturizing.
- Mechanical (manual): Deep blackheads and blemishes are removed manually or with special instruments; suitable for oily and problematic skin.
- Ultrasonic: Uses ultrasonic waves to gently remove dead skin cells and impurities; less traumatic, suitable for sensitive skin.
- Atraumatic (chemical): Cleansing with acid peels or enzymes, without instruments, is ideal for sensitive and young skin.
