Diamond microdermabrasion - mechanical resurfacing of the skin using a rotating handpiece with abrasive dusting. During the procedure, the surface and middle layer of the epidermis is removed (removed), the particles of which are immediately sucked off using a vacuum.

To achieve a positive result, diamond microdermabrasion is carried out in a course. Its duration is individual for each client - adequate to the skin type, the complexity of aesthetic and age-related problems. As a rule, 3-10 resurfacing is sufficient. The procedures do not involve the use of anesthesia and do not require specific follow-up care. It is enough to follow the general recommendations of the cosmetologist:

• The first 48-74 hours, exclude the application of makeup, the use of scrubs, cosmetics based on alcohol or acids.
• Do not sunbathe for the first 14 days and protect the skin from ultraviolet radiation.
• Apply intensively moisturizing cosmetics throughout the course.

Diamond resurfacing does not violate the integrity of the skin - it is a non-invasive and fairly comfortable procedure. However, it disrupts the barrier function of the skin and increases its sensitivity to environmental factors. Redness, slight swelling, a tingling sensation or a slight burning sensation may occur immediately after the procedure. All uncomfortable sensations go away on their own within 2-48 hours.
