Ashihara karate in Ukraine is not just a karate section, it is a group of like-minded people who have united to continue the teachings of the Kancho Hideyuki Ashihara School. Here you will be able to undergo training and qualify for the Ashihara Karate (IAKA) belt.

Classes will help you and your children improve physical fitness, improve health, get rid of harmful excesses and master self-defense techniques. The school regularly holds competitions, and in summer - training camps at sea. Recruitment in groups is carried out throughout the year.

Ashihara-karate is a contact style of karate created by the great master Hideyuki Ashihara in 1980. This style is different from all existing trends, while it is clear and simple. Creating his own style, H. Ashihara abandoned the old dogmas that were difficult to understand, leaving only that really applicable to real combat. All style disciplines (Kata, Kihon, Kumite) are inextricably linked. The master changed the basis of karate - kata, creating a kata containing elements and bundles for training and practice of real combat.

Types of kata in Ashihara karate:

• Shoshinsha no kata (3 forms) - the kata of the initial movement using techniques from simple to more complex.
• Kihon no kata (3 forms) - kata of the main movements of Ashihara-karate.
• Nage no kata (3 forms) - throwing kata.
• Kumite no kata (5 forms) - a kata for sparring at all distances.
• Jissen no kata (2 forms) - combat kata combining the features listed above.
