Vilni Camp helps children unlock their potential and understand their uniqueness. The camp program is based on the neurophysiological characteristics of child development. Each activity is designed to help children acquire useful skills and boost self-esteem through new achievements. If children experience fear or uncertainty, team members, through their example and friendly attitude, will support and motivate them to try and gain new experiences.

The program features minimal animation but maximum learning through play and real-life experiences. As a result, children leave the camp with not only positive emotions and memories, but also new soft skills—personal skills and qualities that predict future academic success. Specifically:

The camp program includes:

• Daily evening intellectual and entertaining events.

• Competitions.
• Team games.

The camp is suitable for children and teenagers aged 6 to 18 (school age). Children are grouped into teams of 10, aged 10 to 17, and aged 6 to 9. Each team has its own counselor and a level of challenge for each age group. This mixed-age format helps children quickly develop communication and active social skills, and our counselors help them do so in an environmentally friendly and safe manner.

Territory and infrastructure

• The camp has a large green area, gazebos, tables with benches for group games during free time.
• Dance floor.
• Fire pit area.
• Large indoor pool (1.5 m depth).
• Mini-football field.
• Volleyball court.
• Basketball hoops.
• Stage for evening performances.
• A comfortable terrace for evening discos and team events.
• Large open-air cinema.
• The campsite is surrounded by forest and has a certified shelter.

Living conditions for children:

• 4 children per room.
• Comfortable bunk beds, wardrobes, bedside tables.
• The room has amenities such as a toilet, washbasin and shower.
• Towels and bed linen are provided.

Program

A secure, enclosed area with a tropical winter garden and swimming pool. Children discover their own fantasy creature totem and their role on the team. The program includes quests, daily game competitions (unconventional soccer, hobbyhorsing, field hockey), creative activities, and team games to develop humor, creativity, and teamwork.

The program includes:

• Creative workshops – to learn how to make useful and beautiful things with your own hands.
• Cooking master classes – to learn how to prepare healthy snacks and seasonal drinks.
• Hiking is about experiencing a different way of relaxing and learning how to manage your time and space without technology and gadgets.
• Creativity – choreography, flash mobs, the laughter league and Who’s on Top, Field of Miracles, etc. – to express your personality and improve your mood.
• FreeDay – one day per shift, when children are given the right to self-organization and a day of entertainment.
• Freedom from gadgets – the camp has a designated time for using phones (half an hour after breakfast, lunch, and dinner). The rest of the time, it is recommended to return your phone to the counselors for charging and storage.

Nutrition

• Number of meals – 3: breakfast, lunch, dinner, two snacks.

Approximate menu composition:

• Breakfast – syrniki/pancakes, omelette/scrambled eggs, tea.
• Lunch – first course with meat, meat dish, side dish, salad, bread, compote.
• Snack – homemade baked goods/pizza, drink, seasonal fruit.
• Dinner – meat dish, side dish, vegetables, bread, tea.
• It is possible to organize vegetarian and dietary menus.

Safety

The area is fenced, with 24-hour security at the entrance and video surveillance. Before each shift, a parent group is created on Telegram with daily photo and video reports.

During martial law: there is shelter.

Medical care

The staff is qualified to provide first aid. The nearest hospital is within 10 km of the village of Pukhovka. If necessary, children are taken to a qualified doctor for examination and then discussed with their parents to determine the appropriate course of action.

Excursions

Excursions during the shift are discussed with parents before the shift begins, and the cost and duration are communicated in advance. Additional excursions are optional and are at the discretion of the child and parents.

How to contact a child

Communication with your child is possible directly or through a counselor. A device-free camp policy is in place – there is a designated time for phone use at the camp (half an hour after breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as indicated in the schedule). During the rest of the camp, it is recommended to return your phone to the counselor for charging and storage. A Telegram group for parents is created before the start of the camp, and it includes daily photo and video reports.
