And now they have to search for new gear. Or maybe not quite buy it... There haven't been many treasures lately, but there will be plenty in the future, honestly! So for now, you can borrow the necessary items from the local hero supermarket in the board game Magic Maze, as long as no one notices. You need to act quickly and quietly. If you get caught, you can forget about being a hero...

Magic Maze is a timed cooperative board game for groups. Most games are played in complete silence—communication is only possible through the use of a special red pawn, which you can tap on the table.

The game features four characters, and players control them together. Each party member receives a tile with an action or actions they can perform during the game. Typically, this tile will only allow each character to move in a specific direction through the supermarket's maze. The tile may also contain other actions, such as unlocking new mall tiles, moving characters up stairs, or between vortexes. It's not that simple!

The game is divided into 17 scenarios. It's recommended to play them one by one to gradually learn the game's new mechanics, but you can choose any one to suit your taste.

At the start of each game, players are randomly dealt one action tile (the number varies depending on the number of players). All tiles must face north—the same direction as the starting tile of the shopping center. Once players are ready to begin, flip the hourglass. From this point on, communication of any kind is prohibited.

Typically, the characters' goal is to find their equipment on the mall shelves (with four characters standing on the appropriate locations simultaneously), and then escape through an exit or even several different ones. And all this within a limited time. Can't real heroes handle that? But don't worry, there will be locations on the mall tiles that allow you to flip the hourglass when time runs out. The main thing is to watch every grain of sand!

The scenario is completed when all four characters escape the mall with their gear within the allotted time. We recommend taking a short break after such an intense mission and immediately moving on to the next one before the adrenaline rush wears off!

The board game Magic Maze offers a completely different perspective on the lives of fantasy heroes. Sometimes, even they have to steal to make a living. Anyone can find themselves in this situation, so don't judge them! Instead, quietly help them find the right shelf and then lead them out of the shopping mall, which is more like a maze.
