Service description
An ophthalmologist consultation includes collecting a medical history and recording the patient's vision-related complaints. After an eye exam, recommendations are made for vision correction (glasses, contact lenses).
Vision diagnostics using modern tests. Various tests are performed to determine more precise parameters for corrective treatment.
Computer vision diagnostics are performed using the Huvitz device, which objectively and quickly determines the type and degree of refractive error of the eye (myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism).
Prescribing the appropriate correction method and issuing a prescription. Based on computer diagnostic data, a trial set of lenses is used to select the correct correction, and a prescription is issued. In addition to the diopter value, the prescription specifies the interpupillary distance—the distance between the centers of the pupils of both eyes, which is crucial for fitting the lenses into the frame and subsequently ensuring visual comfort while wearing the glasses. The interpupillary distance is measured separately for each eye with a special ruler.
