The essence of emotional image therapy (EOT) is to get rid of difficult relationships or situations at the subconscious level by imagining your experiences in the form of any image and doing some internal work with them. Any emotional state a person can feel in the body and imagine in the form of an image (a stone on the heart, a soul in a cage, a yoke on the neck, etc.). Emotions do not live outside of a person, everything that happens in our emotional sphere leaves traces in the body. And this is the beginning of research. Localization in the body and attention to bodily sensations help to accurately create an image. An image is the shortest way to open and hidden emotional states. Insults perform a service function and provide an opportunity to go to those traumas and conflicts within the person that caused them. EOT is a method of controlled dialogue with the client's unconscious world. The client is in close interaction and cooperation with the psychologist, who helps to understand the negative emotional state and the causes of its occurrence, and applies effective techniques for its positive change.
