The procedure of fractional laser resurfacing is that the laser beam penetrates into the deep layers of the dermis through a special fractional lattice. Thanks to it, the laser stream is divided into hundreds of small fractions (fragments), thus acting on the skin and preventing excessive damage. In response to thermal laser exposure, regenerative resources are activated in the dermis and epidermis: cells actively divide, the concentration of elastin and collagen increases, a new muscle frame is formed, and tissue lifting is observed.
In other words, the laser beam vaporizes the upper keratinized layer of the epidermis, along with pigmentation, wrinkles, scars, uneven terrain. In parallel with this, in the dermis, it activates the synthesis of collagen and elastin, which are responsible for firmness, elasticity and youthfulness of the skin.

Indications for the procedure:

• Scars, including post-acne scars.
• Hyperpigmentation.
• Decreased facial skin turgor, sagging, ptosis.
• Fine and deep wrinkles, folds, creases, uneven skin relief.
• Overhanging of the upper and drooping of the lower eyelids.

Contraindications for laser resurfacing:

• Diabetes mellitus in the stage of decompensation.
• Acute and chronic infectious and viral diseases.
• Pregnancy, lactation.
• Oncological diseases.

The decision to carry out the procedure of laser resurfacing of the face should be taken exclusively by the dermatologist of the clinic after an in-person consultation. It is important to understand that fractional facial resurfacing is not indicated for everyone due to its specificity.

Procedure process:

• Fractional laser resurfacing is virtually painless. With increased sensitivity of the patient, the procedure can be performed under local anesthesia. An anesthetic cream can be applied to the selected area (its price is not included in the total price). The doctor and the patient during grinding are in special protective glasses. The handpiece (tip) of the laser directs the beam to the problem area, dot processing it on the specified parameters.

Recovery period:

The first two days after grinding, active redness and swelling are observed on the skin. After 2-3 days, a light brown crust forms on the surface of the skin, which peels off on its own by 5-7 days. For the first 2-3 weeks, sunscreen with at least SPF 50 should be used before every outdoor activity. For 2 weeks it is recommended to exclude saunas, baths and a pool.
