During the training period, you will learn how to generate a report of any complexity, select the data you need according to one or several criteria, perform complex calculations, create smart tables with automatic sizing, automatic copying of formulas, generate Subtotals, collect from several tables (even of different types!) one, create visual reports and build charts using Pivot Tables.
The course is suitable both for those who are just starting to get acquainted with Excel, and for those who already use Excel and want to expand and systematize their knowledge to a higher level.
Classes are held on practical examples taken from life.
During the training, the following topics are considered:
- Customizing the MS Excel interface "for yourself".
- Accelerated methods for entering data on a worksheet.
- Working with formulas (types of references, tracing of formulas, types of errors).
- Analyze data and create visual reports and charts using pivot tables, customize calculations and groupings in pivot tables.
- Processing large tables, using simple and complex filters and sorts, inserting subtotals.
- Using key built-in functions.
- Data protection when working together on shared documents (protection of cells, sheets, file encryption).
- Application of macros to automate routine tasks (overview).
The course is intended for economists, financiers, analysts, sales managers, logisticians, accountants and other professionals whose duties include collecting and processing information.
The course includes methodological material in electronic form (a short summary of lectures and practical exercises).
Workshops:
- In each lesson, students complete practical exercises based on real life examples. Homework is set.
Requirements for students:
- For successful assimilation of the course material, students need to have MS Windows skills.
