My worst experience ever with an Indian place. The food that is supposed to be tasty is absolutely uneatable here. Whoever plans to come here beware, you re gonna be wasting your time and money.

Food is delicious. Service was also good. Compliments to the chef and team food was much better than other restaurants in Kyiv...

You may call it Indian food if you are not indian or never tested real indian food. Food tests pathetic and lack any tests. Only thing they know is adding ️ in the name of spicy. Service is equally pathetic and so is portion they serve.In nutshell it's a disgrace in the name f indian restaurant. Suggest to completely avoid this restaurant.

I'm coming here for 15 years; starting from their original location. Unpretentious food, service, and value with good staff. You'd be hard-pressed to find similar qualities with most establishments in London where I've eaten at the best and the worst for 40+ years. Himalaya is an honest place; honest food, fair prices, and hard-working attentive staff. It's good to know the owners haven't changed and neither have most of the key staff. Keep it up! Sure, the ingredients and so on can go up a level ot two but then so will the prices. Himalaya strikes a perfect balance for quality day in and day out.

The two chicken mains (Handi and spinach chicken) were a bit bland but not bad. Chili paneer was good, as was the dal makhani. Samosas lacked zing and needed to be served with something (a yoghurt or something else). Like many restaurants in Kyiv the food comes in random order and the last things to appear at our table were the samosa starters. On the evening that we went there was no draft beer, and no lamb dishes available. Not bad Indian food if you want a fix, but it is unlikely to wow you.

Была в этом ресторане только раз. Остались самые приятные и теплые воспоминания. Вежливый и обходительный персонал, обслуживание на высшем уровне. Атмосфера потрясающая. Заказывала блюда из мяса, это нечто, вкуснее я нигде не ела. Спасибо за хорошее времяпровождение и сытный ужин. Советую.

The employee was bad with handling and the air conditioning was very hot

Decent Indian food, especially considering that you are in Kyiv, Ukraine. Vegetarian and vegan options clearly marked on the menus, which are available in both English and Ukrainian. Like many restaurants, paper menus have been replaced with scan-code versions so if you don't have a smart phone, you may be out of luck. Waitstaff speaks Ukrainian and Russian as well as English. Eating area is smallish, maybe a dozen tables kind of close together. Prices are not terrible - an app, drink, main, naan, dessert, and water was about 500 hr. I have both ordered delivery and eaten in, and the food has been consistent.

The best thing about this place was the Coca Cola. Food was below average. Service was also below standard. Ordered white wine and was served warm. I asked the waitress to change it and she brought another warm glass! Bland food. Would not recommend!

The restaurant is best for Indian cuisine. The food is amazing as well as the staff. They are very friendly and they also customize is according to your needs. Price is very affordable and quality is amazing. I have visited this place many times and it never disappoints me. So welcoming with yummy food.

Любимое заведение в Киеве. Очень соскучилась по нему за время карантина. Узнала вчера, что Гималаи открыли летнюю террасу – в скором времени точно заеду покушать любимую чикен тика масала и батер нан. Это место нравится, потому что персонал всегда приветливый и внимательный. Хорошо разбираются в меню, помогут подобрать что-то для тех, кто не знаком близко с индийской кухней, блюда приносят быстро. Каждый раз, когда посещала это место – оставалась с хорошими впечталениями.
