Service description
1. Consultation with an ophthalmologist includes: collection of anamnesis, patient complaints about vision. After checking vision, recommendations for vision correction (glasses, contact lenses).
2. Vision diagnostics using modern tests. Various tests are conducted to determine more accurate parameters for the appointment of correction.
3. Computer vision diagnostics is performed using the automatic POTEC refractokeratometer, which objectively and quickly determines the type and degree of refractive error of the eye (myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism).
4. Assignment of the appropriate correction method and prescription. Based on the computer diagnostics data, the correct correction is selected using a trial set of lenses and a prescription for glasses is written. In addition to the diopter value, it specifies the interpupillary distance - the distance between the centers of the pupils of both eyes, which is of great importance for installing the lenses in the frame and subsequent visual comfort in glasses. The interpupillary distance is measured with a special ruler, separately for each eye.
