Up to 3 consultations for a teenager «Me and my profession» from Taisiya Ostroushko

The course is designed for family counseling on the professional self-determination of a teenager (13-16 years old). First, the goal of the course is to get acquainted with the world of professions, target selection of one of them and develop specific steps to implement the planned. In the process of work, a high school student, together with a parent and a psychologist, outlines and examines in detail the most interesting areas for himself, which correlate with his personal characteristics, abilities, interests. At the same time, the parent is an assistant to the teenager in choosing a profession. Such joint work allows to bring the positions of parent and child closer together, especially if career guidance issues cause conflicts in the family, gives each participant in the dialogue an opportunity to express their point of view, listen to the partner's opinion and, in the end, outline a common strategy for achieving goals. Although the course has its own theme, the second goal of the course is aimed at improving the relationship between the child and the parent.
